addition to being an expert addictions specialist and an individual and family counselor, I bring over 20 years of life coaching experience to my practice. I hold a Master’s in Counseling Psychology and a Doctorate in Jurisprudence. I am a Registered Certified Addictions Counselor, a Certified Addictions Educator, and the Coordinator of the Addictions Disorders Counseling Department at Santa Barbara City College. My training includes EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and I have worked extensively with clients dealing with addiction & recovery, trauma, neuroses, and dual-diagnosis patients facing both mental illness and chemical dependency.
